Q.1. What is fuel supply system ? Tell about its types. ( फ्यूल सप्लाई सिस्टम क्या है ?इसके प्रकार बताएं ।)

Ans. The system which is used to deliver fuel from fuel tank to engine cylinder. 

It is mainly of two types :-  (A) Gravity system                                                                                                 (B) Force feed system

(जिस सिस्टम का प्रयोग फ्यूल को फ्यूल टैंक से इंजन सिलैंडर तक पहुँचाने के लिए करते हैं। )

यह मुख्य रूप से दो प्रकार के होते हैं:- (i) ग्रेविटी सिस्टम (ii) फ़ोर्स फीड सिस्टम

Q.2. Wht is gravity system ? ( ग्रेविटी सिस्टम क्या है ?)

Ans. Gravity system :-  In this system, fuel is delivered with the help of gravity. Fuel  tank  is mounted  at  highest position in this system from where fuel is reached to cylinders due to gravity. This system is simple and cheap. (इस सिस्टम में गुरुत्व बल के द्वारा फ्यूल को पहुँचाया जाता है । इस सिस्टम में फ्यूल टैंक उच्चतम अवस्था में रखा  जाता है जिससे की ग्रेविटी (गुरुत्व) द्वारा फ्यूल खुद से ही नींचे सिलैंडर में पहुँच जाता है । यह सिस्टम काफी साधारण एव सस्ता है ।

Q.3. What is force feed system ? What are its main types ? ( फ़ोर्स फीड सिस्टम क्या है ? इसके मुख्य प्रकार क्या हैं ?

Ans. (i) Gravity system(ग्रेविटी सिस्टम) (ii) Force feed system (फ़ोर्स फीड सिस्टम)

(i)Gravity system :-  In this system fuel tank is mounted at the highest position. From there, The fuel drops into the carburetor float chamber by gravity. This system is very simple and cheap. It has only one disadvantage that fuel tank must be placed necessarily over the carburetor.

(इस प्रकार के सिस्टम में, फ्यूल टैंक सबसे उपरी अवस्था में होता है । वहा से फ्यूल की बूंद ग्रेविटी द्वारा कर्बोरेटर के फ्लोट चेम्बर में गिरती हैं ।यह सिस्टम काफी साधारण एव सस्ता है। इसकी केवल एक कमी है की इसे फ्यूल टैंक को कर्बोरेटर के ऊपर रखना अत्यावश्यक  है।)

(ii) Force feed system :- In this type of system, Fuel is delivered by some force in place of gravity.  )

It is mainly of four types :- (i) Pressure system (ii) Vaccum system (iii) Pump system (iv)Fuel injection system

(इस प्रकार के सिस्टम में, फ्यूल ग्रेविटी के स्थान पर किसी बल द्वारा डिलीवर किया जाता है । यह मुख्य तौर से चार प्रकार का होता है :- (i)प्रेशर सिस्टम (ii) वैक्युम सिस्टम (iii) पंप सिस्टम (iv) फ्यूल इंजेक्शन सिस्टम )

(i)Pressure system :-  In this system, hermetically sealed tank is used an pressure is created by engine exhaust gases or separate air pump, However there is a possibility of leakage of pressure in this system. But it has a advantage that fuel tank can be fitted at suitable location

(इस सिस्टम में, पूरी तरह से सील्ड टैंक का प्रयोग किया जाता है । इंजन की एग्जॉस्ट गैसों से या अगल एयर पंप की सहायता से हवा का प्रेशर पैदा होता है । हालाकि इस सिस्टम में, प्रेशर लीक होने की सम्भावना बनी रहती है । लेकिन इस सिस्टम का एक लाभ यह है कि इसमें फ्यूल टैंक को किसी भी सुविधाजनक स्थान पर फिट किया जा सकता है । )

(ii) Vaccum system :- This system is based upon the simple fact that engine suction can be used for sucking  fuel from the main tank to the auxiliary fuel tank from where it flows by gravity to the carburetor float chamber.

(यह सिस्टम साधारण से तथ्य पर आधारित होता है की इंजन सक्शन को मुख्य टैंक से फ्यूल खिंच कर सहायक टैंक तक पहुँचाने के लिए प्रयोग किया जा सकता है जहाँ से यह ग्रेविटी की सहायता से कर्बोरेटर के फ्लोट चेम्बर तक पहुंच जाता हैं ।)

(iii) Pump system :- In this system, pump is used for sending fuel from fuel tank to carburetor float chamber. Fuel pump can be mechanical type which is fitted on engine and also can be electrical type which can be fitted anywhere

(इस सिस्टम में, पुम्प का प्रयोग फ्यूल को फ्यूल टैंक से कर्बोरेटर के फ्लोट चेम्बर तक भेजने के लिए प्रयोग करते हैं। फ्यूल पंप मैकेनिकल प्रकार का भी हो सकता है जो कि इंजन पर फिट किया होता है और इलेक्ट्रिकल प्रकार का भी हो सकता है जो कि किसी भी स्थान पर फिट किया जा सकता है ।)

(iv) Fuel injection  system :- Petrol injection system has been used successfully on some modren vehicles (MPFI  engines ) The fuel  is  automized by means of a nozzle. Separate fuel  injection  system is used for each cylinder which control the mixture under different load conditions .

(पेट्रोल इंजेक्शन सिस्टम कुछ आधुनिक वाहनों (MPFI) में सफलतापूर्वक प्रयोग किया जाता है । फ्यूल तक नोज़ल द्वारा ऑटोमाइज्ड किया जाता है । अगला फ्यूल इंजेक्शन सिस्टम प्रत्येक सिलेंडर के लिए प्रयोग किया जाता है । जो की विभिन्न लोड स्तिथियों के अनुसार मिश्रण नियंत्रित करता है । )
