 Q.1. What are the main components of clutch? (क्लच के मुख्य भाग क्या हैं ?)

Ans.

1. Fork  (फोर्क)
2. Bearing (बियरिंग)
3. Pressure Plate (प्रेशर प्लेट)
4. Clutch Plate (क्लच प्लेट)
5. Clutch Wire (क्लच वायर)
6. Clutch Pedal (क्लच पेडल)

 Q.2.What is the importance of clutch maintenance? (क्लच के रख-रखाव का क्या महत्त्व है?)

Ans. Clutch requires regular maintenance and lubrication in easy shifting of gears. If it is not maintained regularly there will be problem in changing of gears.

क्लच को गियर की आसानी से शिफ्टिंग के लिए नियमित रूप से रख रखाव की और लुब्रीकेशन की जरूरत होती है। यदि इसका समय-समय पर रख-रखाव नहीं किया जाता तो गियर की आसानी से शिफ्टिंग में समस्या होगी।

 Q.3. How free play of clutch is adjusted in two wheelers? (दो पहिया वाहनों में क्लच की फ्री प्ले कैसे एडजस्ट किया जाता है?)

Ans.

• Firstly check the free play of clutch lever which should be 10-12 mm.
• If it is incorrect then adjust it by two following methods

1. Tubular Screw of adjustment unit should be turned clockwise to increase the free play and anti-clockwise to decrease  the free play.
2. If clutch can not be adjusted by outer cable then adjust inner cable near gear box.

सबसे पहले क्लच लीवर की फ्री प्ले की जांच करें जो कि 10 से 12 mm होनी चाहिए। 

यदि यह सही नहीं है तो इसे निम्न विधियों से  एडजस्ट करें 

1. एडजस्टमेंट यूनिट के ट्यूबलर स्क्रू को फ्री प्ले को बढ़ाने के लिए घड़ी की दिशा में घुमाएं और घटाने के लिए घड़ी की विपरीत दिशा में घुमाएं। 

2. यदि क्लच बाहरी केबल से एडजस्ट नहीं होता है तो इसे भीतरी केबल से एडजस्ट करें। 

 Q.4. How free play of clutch in four wheeler is adjusted? (चार पहिया वाहन में क्लच की फ्री प्ले को कैसे एडजस्ट किया जाता है?)

Ans. Clutch free play of four wheeler is generally 15-20 mm at the clutch pedal. If it is not in this range then it is adjusted by following way.

1. Loosen the lock nuts on both side of turn buckle.
2. Rotate the turn buckle according to requirement and tighten the lock nut after adjustment.

चार पहिया वाहन में क्लच पेडल पर  फ्री प्ले 15 से 20 mm होती है, यदि यह इस रेंज में नहीं होती है तो इसे निम्न तरीके से एडजस्ट करें

1. घूमने वाली बक्कल के दोनों तरफ के लॉक नट को ढीला करें। 

2. घूमने वाली बक्कल को जरूरत के अनुसार घुमाएं और एडजस्टमेंट के बाद लॉक नट को कस दें।
